Annapurna Circuit Trekking

<p>Welcome to Nepal. Check-in to hotel. After refreshment, walk around touristic hub including Thamel. In the evening, welcome dinner with cultural program. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.</p><p></p>

<p>After breakfast, full day city tour including the holiest Hindu temple "Pashupatinath Temple ", Boudhhanath Stupa , Swayambhunath (the Monkey Temple) & Kathmandu Durbar Square. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.</p>

<p>After breakfast, drive from the capital to Besisahar( initial point of trekking). The view from besisahar of snowcapped mountain is stunning. Overnight stay in Besisahar.</p>

<p>Early in the morning, we leave Besisahar and drive to Syange. It's steep downhill path to start. As we head in the direction of Bahundanda, we will see the beautiful waterfall. After crossing over the Marsyangdi River via suspension bridge, it will bring us initially through the stone village of Jagat before ending the day in Chamje. Night in Chamje.</p>

<p>After the breakfast, our new day begins by following the Marsyangdi. We climb steadily towards Tal (the first village of the Manang district). As we go further, The trail then climbs a stone stairway to 1860m till another stairway.We continue trek towards Dharapani . We'll know we have arrived when we see the chhorten, or stone entrance, typical of Tibetan-influenced architecture. Here, the houses are flat-roofed with the fields of waving maize. Night in Bagarchhap. </p>

<p>After breakfast. we climb through rocky trails to reach Tyanja (2360m) , and then through the forest and parallel to a river on the way to Kopar (2590m). Chame (headquarter of the Manang district) is our stop for the evening. It used to be the trade route of Nepal-Tibet. The people of Chame brought their the customs, traditions and the architectures of the Tibetans, and have upheld the culture through the centuries. There are two hot springs in the town. We can view beautiful Annapurna II from here. Night at Chame.</p>

<p>Today, we start through the dense forest, across a steep valley, over a river and some bridges (2910m) . We then cross another bridge (3040m) where we'll be treated to spectacular views of the soaring Paungda Danda rock face. Night at Upper Pisang.</p>

<p>After breakfast, we move through the higher and drier landscape of Manang. The farmers here breed yaks and raise crops, while taking advantage of special trading dispensations that they've had since the 18th century. We're back following the Marsyangdi as of Mungji village, and then on our way through either Hongde (3420m) , with a little less climbing, or Ghyaru and Ngawal (3660m), which has more picturesque views. Either one will bring us to our guesthouse at Manang. Night at Manang.</p>

<p>Today after breakfast, we will walk around Manang to keep our legs stretched with some scenic, peaceful day walks around the sprawling village. It helps us to adjust with the altitude gradually . Night in Manang. </p>

<p>After breakfast, we ascend a steep steadily to the Yak Kharka, and then up through the Tenki Manang as we exit the Marsyangi Valley. Continuing along the Jarsang Khola Valley, we reach Yak Kharka (4,000m). Night at Yak Kharka.</p>

<p>After breakfast, we begin our uphill trek 2hrs straight before descending slightly to cross the river. It's all uphill again after that until we reach Thorong Phedi. Throughout the Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi trek distance, we will see many majestic picks and mountains of Annapurna Himalayan range. Like the Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Pisang Peak, Thorung peak, Chulu, Tilcho peak and many more. It offers great pleasure of encountering with some of the breath-taking views of the Himalayan range in the way. Night in Thorong Phedi.</p>

<p>Early morning breakfast(4am) we trek to pass early before 10 am. It's because of detrimental weather conditions. The pass is the highest point (5416m highest point) which takes a steep climb. Heavy snow can also be a problem. The magnificent view from the top of the pass is worthwhile. Then, trek to "Muktinath- PLACE OF NIRVANA. It is a place sacred to Hindus and Buddhists, and filled with fascination and ethereal power. Overnight Stay in Muktinath. </p>

<p>Today,we will leave Muktinath behind and continue travelling to the scenic, beautiful trail between Muktinath and Kagbeni, via Jhong Then, after approximately 6 hours of walking we reach the beautiful Marpha (2960m) is a charming village with many canals and where you can find a variety of fruit (This place is well known for Apples garden and apple brandy). It’s a real delight. And also we visit the big gomba in the city centre. Overnight stay in Marpha. </p>

<p>After breakfast, we trek to Ghasa (a small Thakali settlement with welcoming people and lodges). The climate becomes drier and colder as we move further. Overnight in Ghasa.</p>

<p>Today, our downhill trek leads to "Tatopani" means "hot spring,". Ethnically, The villagers are Thakali and Tamang, and used to be a significant trading post between Nepal and Tibet centuries ago. The walk is enjoyable as we pass colorful villages, gorgeous flowers, and plenty of lush greenery with magnificient mountains on the background. Night at Tatopani.</p>

<p>It is a final part of famous Annapurna Circuit which offers prominent view of Himalayas. Today, we have to ascend 1670 meters, quite long and challenging task. Steep climbing began from Ghar Khola & have to ascent on rocky steps till Ghorepani slowly. We'll pass through Ghara, Shikha, Phalante, Chitre Village. We get to explore the rich cultural heritage of the place, their tradition, religion and tribal groups of that region. Night at Ghorepani.</p>

<p>Today before dawn, we will get up early to view sunrise from Poonhill. Our day kicks off with an excursion to Poon Hill and an indescribably wonderful panorama of three Himalayan peaks (Dhaulagiri I, Annapurna (I) fishtail ( Machhapuchhre), Annapurna IV , II , Manalsu) illuminated by the glowing rays of sunrise. From here, we'll also be treated to views of the 6,000m-deep Kali Gandaki Gorge and the visual border of Nepal and Tibet as divided by the trans-Himalayan ranges. </p><p>The last walk of our trek is an easy one as we stroll downhill from Tikhedhunga to Nayapul. Night at Nayapul.</p><p></p>

<p>After breakfast, we ascend towards Nayapul & drive to Pokhara. Check-in to hotel. After refreshment, boating at Phewa lake to visit Barahi Temple. Night in Pokhara. </p>

<p>After breakfast, full day city tour including Gupteswar Mahadev, Devi's fall, Seti River George]. Night at Pokhara.</p>

<p>After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. Check-in to hotel. In the evening, farewell dinner. Night in Kathmandu</p>

DEPARTURE

<p>After breakfast, transfer to hotel. Happy see off.</p>
